Breaking High Barriers
Across Laikipia and Isiolo, distance, cost, and stigma often stand between people with disabilities and the care they deserve. Savannah Blossom is creating an accessible day-support and residential haven that prioritizes dignity and independence. By removing these systemic hurdles, we foster a community where every individual is rooted in strength and blooming in ability.
01
Inclusion in Leadership
We embody the principle of 'Nothing about us without us.' At least one third of our board members and professional staff are persons with disabilities, ensuring that lived experience drives every strategic decision.

02
Dignity & Protection
We ensure wellbeing through quarterly reviews by our user advisory group of residents and caregivers. Information is shared in plain language, pictures, and local dialects, while universal design and safeguarding remain our core standards.

Community Supported
90%+
The centre is being established on a foundation of local trust and shared vision. With land generously donated by the community and strong support from church partners, we are building a sustainable space dedicated to dignity and independence.
